Developmental biologist with over 25 years of experience in tissue clearing and 3D imaging of complex biological samples. Pioneered research on embryonic signaling and GLP-1 peptide distribution at Novo Nordisk, and launched one of the first whole-organ imaging services globally at Gubra.
Johanna Perens
CTO & Co-founder
Biophysicist and image data scientist specializing in quantitative 3D brain imaging. Developed the first multimodal mouse brain atlas integrating light-sheet microscopy and MRI. Expert in automated, AI-powered image analysis pipelines for deriving meaningful interpretations from complex brain data.
Thomas Topilko
CSO & Co-founder
Neuroscientist with expertise in whole-organ imaging, spatial biology, and computational neuroscience. Spearheaded imaging R&D and advanced multimodal combination of light-sheet microscopy and spatial transcriptomics to accelerate drug discovery for CNS disorders.
